The speed of sound


Did you know that today in 1901 The first radio signal to cross the Atlantic was picked up near St. John's Newfoundland, by inventor Guglielmo Marconi (thats him in the picture)? Its hard to believe that just over 100 years ago the first radio signals were going transatlantic and now we can talk to anyone in the world just by dialling their number.

Went to the transport museum today with my niece and nephew. I love that place. I'll be sad when it closes but the new building looks like it will be amazing.
