On this day back in 1990 Baroness Thatcher quit as Prime Minister of Britain. John Major succeeded as Tory leader five days after Mrs Thatcher's resignation.I don't really know what to say about this woman other than she was not very popular amongst a lot of people in Scotland but no matter what I or anyone else thinks of her; she will always be the first female British Prime Minister.
She certainly had a face for politics.
